All required car hire insurances
All required car hire insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) are included in our car hire rates. The vehicle's car hire insurance is subject to an insurance excess value : When you collect the car hire at Cardiff Airport, you'll be asked to leave a credit card deposit to the value of the car hire excess : (Depending on the type of car you select) between GBP 550.00 and GBP 650.00. Providing you return the vehicle undamaged at the end of the car hire, this value is returned to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the car hire insurance excess value. Local car hire taxes & airport charges.
Our car hire rates at Cardiff Airport are fully inclusive of local sales taxes (17.50% in United Kingdom).
Arrival times for your car hire.
Our car hire rates include service on arrival at Cardiff Airport within normal office hours (08:00-20.00). If your flight arrives outside these times, there is a surcharge of GBP 35.00. This car hire surcharge is payable locally on arrival at Cardiff Airport.

Fuel is not included at Cardiff Airport!
The fuel that you consume during your car hire is obviously not included in our our published car hire rates! On arrival at the Cardiff Airport car hire station, you will collect the car hire vehicle with a full tank of fuel against a credit card deposit. At the end of the car hire, return the car hire vehicle with a full tank to Cardiff Airport to get a refund.
Insurance Excess deposit.
As explained above in What's Included, the car hire vehicle's insurance at Cardiff Airport is subject to an car hire insurance excess deposit (depending on the type of car hire vehicle you select) between GBP 550.00 and GBP 650.00. Providing you return the car hire vehicle undamaged, this value is refunded to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the deposit paid.
