The following items are not included in our car hire rates for Cambridge car hire.

Fuel is not included at Cambridge!

The fuel that you consume during your car hire is obviously not included in our our published car hire rates! On arrival at the Cambridge car hire station, you will collect the car hire vehicle with a full tank of fuel against a credit card deposit. At the end of the car hire, return the car hire vehicle with a full tank to Cambridge to get a refund.

Insurance Excess deposit.

As explained above in What's Included, the car hire vehicle's insurance at Cambridge is subject to an car hire insurance excess deposit (depending on the type of car hire vehicle you select) between GBP 550.00 and GBP 650.00. Providing you return the car hire vehicle undamaged, this value is refunded to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the deposit paid.

Lost car hire vehicle keys.

Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the car hire vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately GBP 120.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday car hire at Cambridge may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your car hire vehicle.
