All required car hire insurances
All required car hire vehicle insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) are included in our rates. The vehicle's car hire insurance is subject to an insurance excess value : When you collect the car hire at Korat, you'll be asked to leave a credit card deposit to the value of the car hire vehicle's insurance excess : THB 10000.00. Providing you return the car hire car undamaged at the end of the rental, this value is returned to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the THB 10000.00 you paid as a deposit. Additional drivers
Included in our car hire rates for Korat is 2 free extra drivers on each car hire. At Korat, the normal minimum driver age applied by car hire companies is 21 of age, with a minimum of two years driving licence experience. If any would-be driver is aged under 21 (or is aged over 70) at the start of the car hire at Korat, please confirm via e-mail with your car hire reservations agent.

Fuel is not included at Korat!
The fuel that you consume during your car hire is obviously not included in our our published car hire rates! On arrival at Korat, you will be asked to prepay a full tank of fuel. At the end of the hire, simply return the car hire vehicle back to the car hire station at Korat as empty as possible.
Insurance Excess deposit.
As explained above in What's Included, the vehicle's car hire insurance at Korat is subject to an car hire insurance excess deposit of THB 10000.00. Providing you return the car undamaged to Korat at the end of the car hire period, this value is refunded to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the THB zzexcessminvalue you paid as a deposit for the car hire vehicle.

Lost car hire vehicle keys.
Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the car hire vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately THB 60.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday car hire at Korat may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your car hire vehicle. Please take good care of the car hire vehicle key while you're on holiday in Thailand!
Off-road or negligent use.
Our car hire vehicles at Korat are rented for use on the public highways of Thailand. They cannot be used off-road. Although a very rare ocurrance, we'd like you to be aware that damage to the underside of the car hire vehicle, frequently caused by negligent driving or off-road use at Korat (we have had occasion to have to lift car hire vehicles out of dried-up river beds!) is your responsibility. Drunk driving a hire car is considered negligent use.
Traffic fines.
Traffic fines, speeding tickets incurred at the wheel of your car hire vehicle at Korat are at your own risk.
Vehicle glass & locks.
It is a sad reality that in most holiday resorts in Thailand, auto-theft is a day-to-day ocurrance. If you park up the car hire vehicle with personal items inside and, as a consequence, the glass or locks are damaged in an attempt to steal your personal effects, you will be responsible for the associated repair costs to the car hire vehicle. We strongly recommend that you park the vehicle in supervised car parks/garages in the major cities and never leave any personal item inside the car hire vehicle.

Child seats
Child seats are suitable for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age. Child seats are supplied for car hire vehicles from Korat on request. There is a charge of THB 100.00 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Korat. You must reserve babyseats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
