All required car hire insurances
All required car hire vehicle insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) are included in our rates. The vehicle's car hire insurance is subject to an insurance excess value : When you collect the car hire at Vilnius Airport, you'll be asked to leave a credit card deposit to the value of the car hire vehicle's insurance excess : EUR 300.00. Providing you return the car hire car undamaged at the end of the rental, this value is returned to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the EUR 300.00 you paid as a deposit. Local car hire taxes & airport charges.
Our car hire rates at Vilnius Airport are fully inclusive of local sales taxes (18.00% in Lithuania).
Arrival times for your car hire.
Our car hire rates include service on arrival at Vilnius Airport within normal office hours (09:00-20:00). If your flight arrives outside these times, there is a surcharge of EUR 10.00. This car hire surcharge is payable locally on arrival at Vilnius Airport.

Fuel is not included at Vilnius Airport!
The fuel that you consume during your car hire is obviously not included in our our published car hire rates! On arrival at the Vilnius Airport car hire station, you will collect the car hire vehicle with a full tank of fuel against a credit card deposit. At the end of the car hire, return the car hire vehicle with a full tank to Vilnius Airport to get a refund.
Insurance Excess deposit.
As explained above in What's Included, the vehicle's car hire insurance at Vilnius Airport is subject to an car hire insurance excess deposit of EUR 300.00. Providing you return the car undamaged to Vilnius Airport at the end of the car hire period, this value is refunded to your credit card in full. In the unlikely event that you damage the car hire vehicle, your maximum liability is limited to the EUR zzexcessminvalue you paid as a deposit for the car hire vehicle.
Insurance Excess values for Vilnius Airport

Lost car hire vehicle keys.
Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the car hire vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately EUR 200.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday car hire at Vilnius Airport may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your car hire vehicle. Please take good care of the car hire vehicle key while you're on holiday in Lithuania!
Off-road or negligent use.
Our car hire vehicles at Vilnius Airport are rented for use on the public highways of Lithuania. They cannot be used off-road. Although a very rare ocurrance, we'd like you to be aware that damage to the underside of the car hire vehicle, frequently caused by negligent driving or off-road use at Vilnius Airport (we have had occasion to have to lift car hire vehicles out of dried-up river beds!) is your responsibility. Drunk driving a hire car is considered negligent use.
Traffic fines.
Traffic fines, speeding tickets incurred at the wheel of your car hire vehicle at Vilnius Airport are at your own risk.
Vehicle glass & locks.
It is a sad reality that in most holiday resorts in Lithuania, auto-theft is a day-to-day ocurrance. If you park up the car hire vehicle with personal items inside and, as a consequence, the glass or locks are damaged in an attempt to steal your personal effects, you will be responsible for the associated repair costs to the car hire vehicle. We strongly recommend that you park the vehicle in supervised car parks/garages in the major cities and never leave any personal item inside the car hire vehicle.
The following items can be added to your car hire reservation for Vilnius Airport in Lithuania :
Child seats
Child seats are suitable for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age. Child seats are supplied for car hire vehicles from Vilnius Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.60 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Vilnius Airport. You must reserve babyseats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Booster Seats
Booster seats are suitable for young children from approximately 2 years until 5 years of age. Booster seats are supplied for car hire vehicles from Vilnius Airport on request. There is a charge of EUR 3.60 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Vilnius Airport. You must reserve babyseats at the same time as you reserve your car hire.
Additional Drivers
You may add additional drivers to your car hire on arrival in Vilnius Airport. These are payable locally at Vilnius Airport at EUR 7.08 per day.
Buy-out of the Vehicle's Insurance Excess
The car hire vehicles at Vilnius Airport are sold with an insurance excess. This is explained in the section Whats's Not Included? above.Instead of leaving a credit card deposit to cover your car hire insurance excess at Vilnius Airport, you may opt to purchase additional insurance locally to "buy-out" the excess value - effectively removing your liability for vehicle bodywork damage. This option, depending on the car hire vehicle selected, costs between EUR 15.00 and EUR 15.00 per per day. You do not need to prebook insurance excess buy-out, simply decide and pay locally on arrival at the car hire station in Vilnius Airport when you arrive in Lithuania.
Purchasing insurance excess buy-out is not a "licence to kill" and you will still be responsible for items like tyre, wheel, glasss or damage to the underside of the car hire vehicle. The car hire company may still require you to leave a credit card imprint to cover extensions to your car hire contract or traffic fines. See our section What's Not Included for further details.
Out-of-hours charges at Vilnius Airport
For arrivals at Vilnius Airport outside of normal office hours (09:00-20:00), there is a supplement of EUR 10.00 payable on arrival in Lithuania. For arrivals late at night you must provide us with your arrival flight number into Vilnius Airport so the local car hire station can coordinate it's office hours at Vilnius Airport.
